Dear Supervisors:

The regular meeting of the Habitat Community Development District Board of Supervisors will be held on August 18, 2020 at 4 PM via web conference due to the COVID-19 distancing restrictions.

The Agenda is included in Section 2 and a few points of interest are as follows:

  • Enclosed are the regular meeting minutes from July 21, 2020, the current field management report, and a link to the Estero community reports; the financial report for July and the invoices have been sent under separate cover
  • This meeting will include The Fiscal Year 2021 Budget Hearing and resolutions 2020-05 and 2020-06 are included for adopting the budget and approving the assessment levy
  • The Chair will update on the emergency egress/ingress project, and introduce a topic on the Village of Estero’s plan to install a sidewalk and street lights along Corkscrew Road as part of the widening project
  • The Field Manager will provide updates on the pump station storage shed installation, stormwater system scoping, and the removal of curb by the auxiliary parking area
  • The Attorney will introduce a new topic on transfer of control of various access and parking roads
  • The District Manager will update on FEMA reimbursement, the GIS Phase III, and present resolution 2020-07 to set the Fiscal Year 2021 Meeting Schedule
  • There will be proposals on the clocktower door replacement and additional Cypress trees plantings
